PHOTOS: 2017 OJUDE OBA FESTIVAL, THE PRIDE OF IJEBU PEOPLE

This year's Ojude Oba, the popular carnival of the Ijebu People in Ogun State,  where various age group categories come to pay traditional homage to the Paramount Ruler and the Awujale of Ijebu land Oba Kayode Sikiru Adetona was celebrated with pomp. 

Gaily dressed members of the age group categories known as regberegbes defied the rain to be part of this year's celebrations, a day after the Muslims Sallah festival.
